The European Central Bank carried out an assessment of the assets of AS LHV Group

The European Central Bank working with Finantsinspektsioon carried out an assessment of AS LHV Group that found the quality of the assets of the bank to be good. The assessment is as a rule carried out at banks that have recently been named as important credit institutions and that come under the direct supervision of the European Central Bank. AS LHV Group became an important bank on 1 January 2023.

The assessment of the quality the assets of AS LHV Group focused on credit risk, and covered small and medium-sized enterprises and the real estate portfolio. The results of the assessment of the quality of assets will be taken into account during the supervisory review and assessment process.

The assessments done by the European Central Bank working with the national supervision authorities help ensure that banks are sufficiently capitalised. The other banks operating in Estonia that come under direct supervision from the European Central Bank alongside AS LHV Group are Swedbank AS, SEB Pank AS and Luminor Bank AS.
