OÜ Krediidiregister was granted an operating licence as a payment institution with an exemption

Finantsinspektsioon decided on Monday 17 December to issue an operating licence as a payment institution to OÜ Krediidiregister and also to issue the company a licence using the legally permitted exemption.

The operating licence as a payment institution gives OÜ Krediidiregister the right to provide account information services. Finantsinspektsioon also decided to apply the exemption set out in § 11(3) of the Payment Institutions and E-money Institutions Act to the company. This exemption means that not all the requirements that apply to payment institutions will apply to OÜ Krediidiregister, including the provisions in chapters 4, 6, 8 and 9 of the Payment Institutions and E-money Institutions Act.

The register of market participants on the Finantsinspektsioon website lists the licensed payment institutions, including payment institutions with exemptions. entities.
